Greenstone Land Developments is a successful privately owned Hawke’s Bay-based business established by founder Tim Wilkins.
Tim has vast property experience, as a registered valuer, property developer and project manager. His family has been involved in realising the potential of land development for over 40 years.
Greenstone has brought to market many significant new residential areas across Hawke’s Bay including Havelock North, Napier, Hastings and Te Awanga.
Our vision is to maximise the features of the natural environment, establishing quality infrastructure services to create desirable subdivisions and valuable properties.
Tim takes a hands-on approach to creating residential developments from identifying potential land through to design of site plans to working alongside reputable professionals and contractors.
Greenstone’s early developments included Frimley’s Lyndhurst area which added over 190 new sections for new housing in Hastings and Arataki in Havelock North, which included nearly 100 new sections. Greenstone transformed the former Arataki Holiday Park into 39 sections, securing the land resource consent and completing civil construction works within 14 months.
Sustainable developments
Greenstone is proud to develop one of the region’s first solar energy based developments. Te Awanga Terraces, is a coastal development with all houses in Stage 1 installing solar.
This will lessen the reliance on the electricity grid as well as provide network resilience.
We have also focussed on the wellbeing of both residents within the development as well as the wider community, using land required for storm water overflow (water attenuation and a requirement within council consenting) as a recreational reserve with a full tennis court, a cricket net and basketball half-court.

Greenstone Land Developments takes immense pride in realising the full potential of a development and the new sections within.
Tim Wilkins has a unique skill-set from identifying the potential of a piece of land to successfully navigating council consenting, working with civil infrastructure firms to create internal 3 waters and other service connections to internal landscaping.
Tim has a belief to transition quickly from a bare piece of land to a new residential area. There’s lots of moving parts but his project skills couple with long standing relationships with local engineers, designers and other consultants has led to the creation of many successful developments.
